Vertical Limit is a movie about life. It teach us on how to survive in the circumstance that need us to choose what is more important. The most important moral value that we can take is the relationship between family,why we should protect our family and how we can do it.
In my opinion, i think,everyone should watch this movie because it show us the real the life is it, sometimes,its better but in other times,it can challenge us. Don't judge a book by it's cover. The ugly cover didn't means that the book is meaningless. Sometimes,the people around us can be pretend to be nice to us. They might hurt us for their own personal use. For example,in this movie, when Anne, Elliot and another one their crew climbing's member were trapped in the cave in the mountain,Elliot without his humanism kill the member. This movie also show us about love between family. The father, Royce Garret ordered Peter to cut him loose to save the lives of his kids, even though he knew it would mean his death. We also have to be brave to make any decision and take the responsibility for the action taken. This love also shown by Peter and his sister,Anne. Peter willing to take the dangerous action by brought the bomb to save his sister although he know that the mountain is very dangerous.

Family differences and personal grudges add drama to an already tense situation as the lives of a team of mountain climbers hang in the balance in this action drama. Peter Garrett and his sister Annie are the children of Royce Garrett , an avid outdoors man and climbing enthusiast who died when an accident left all three hanging from a single rope; Royce ordered Peter to cut him loose to save the lives of his kids, even though he knew it would mean his death. Years later, Peter has given up climbing and become a respected nature photographer, while Annie, who holds Peter responsible for her father's death, is a famous world-class mountain climber who is hired by Elliot Vaughn, a self-made billionaire, to help him scale K2, a mountain in the Himalayas that's the second-highest peak in the world. In the midst of the climb, dangerous weather strikes, and Elliot, Annie, and their crew find themselves trapped in a cavern that's been sealed tight by an avalanche. Peter, who is near K2 working on an assignment, quickly organizes a crew of expert climbers to save Annie and the other mountaineers, who must work under a tight deadline before the trapped climbers run out of air. Peter's partners in the rescue include beautiful medic Monique, radical climbers Cyril and Malcolm, disciplined Pakistani crewman Kareem, and Montgomery, an eccentric outdoors man who has a score to settle with Elliot.
